Programs
Welcome to the Summer Youth Programs at Sylvester Manor Educational Farm! We know summer is a busy time for everyone on the island and in the farming world it is especially exciting and productive! Click on the links below to read about each program.
Young Farmers Program (ages 5 -10)
Farm Science Program (ages 7-12)
The Imaginarium (ages 3 and 4)
In the summer we harvest a lot of delicious summer vegetables and plant even more fall and winter vegetables so that the farmers and members of the Shelter Island community can have fresh vegetables for the fall and winter months to come. And we want you to come help us! These programs are all about learning how to grow your own food and cook it, as well as how to really enjoy all of life on a farm with lots of fun music, beautiful art, chickens, pigs, goats and tasty vegetables.
